After many years of having studied, questioned and reflected, and having written a number of  books on the deeper principles of life, I now feel the need to wander among people, sharing my insights as I go.

In effect, I have a very good map (of the deeper workings of mind and life), and I want to share it.

Rhythms

I've come to realise that there's a mechanical component to creating success or visualising and achieving goals. And by mechanical, I mean artificial and forced.

For some time I've been wondering: What would it be like to simply 'let go' and see where life takes me? To trust that I'll end up where I'm most needed, without my having to 'push' (visualise) the future? To find that life, despite my fears, is inherently friendly, safe and supporting?

Preparations

Presently in Cairns, staying with good friends Wayne and Julie while preparing for my journey.

One of the time consuming things I'm needing to do is to finish building this website. I use the Drupal CMS, which while very powerful and flexible, is also hugely complex1, so for me very time-consuming.

I'm not sure what resources I'll have with me when I head off ... I'm working on my laptop, using the Ubuntu operating system which I find far more reliable and faster than Vista. But whether I take it with me (considering its weight) is something I haven't decided on.

  1. 1. The basic Drupal system is fairly easy, but when building additional functionality into the site ... well, as I said, hugely complex, but well structured.
